Position Title: Senior Equine Veterinarian

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Equine Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in equine medicine, surgery, diagnostics and delivering top-notch veterinary care to our equine patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for equine patients.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including emergency surgeries, with precision and care.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for various equine health issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
  • Communicate effectively with horse owners, trainers and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in equine medicine and incorporate them into practice.
Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid veterinary license in Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equine veterinary practice.
  • Proficiency in equine surgery, diagnostics and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care.
Benefits:

  • Base Salary. Employee shall receive an annual salary of 100,000 to $150,000.
  • Vacation. Employee shall be entitled to 2 weeks of paid vacation during each year of his/her employment under this Agreement.
  • Continuing Education. Company will establish a $2000 annual stipend for continuing education expenses, for Employee to meet the minimum standard of continuing education as established by the Oklahoma State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
